Access to Justice program for child rights is currently underway in the Kishanganj district of Bihar, aimed at combating critical issues such as child marriage, child trafficking, and child sexual exploitation.

Solar Energy Irrigation System
Kishanganj District.
With the initiative of Jan Nirman Kendra and in collaboration with Borlaug Institute for South Asia (BISA), farmers were trained on solar energy irrigation system in Kishanganj district. Creative initiatives will be taken to promote.

Mushroom Cultivation
Promotion of household based Mushroom Production. Provide alternate income source to the landless farmers & agriculture labour, and facilitate the processing and marketing of various products of Mushroom for enhancing income No. of Household benefited : 4500 Annual Income per household :Rs. 90000/-
Direct Seeded Rice (DSR)
Promote Direct sowing of Paddy through seed drill/zero-till to reduce the cost of nursery, puddling, transplanting and enhance overall income from Paddy cultivation. No. of Household benefited – 7560 Reduction in cost per acre – 20% Increase in Income per acre – 25%
Vermi-Compost Units
To maximize use of cow-dung in agriculture by promotion of Vermi-compost production unit and also reduce the use of chemical fertilizer to maintain soil fertility. No. of Household benefited – 3500 Annual Production per household – 200 Q
